Parents provide valuable service to our school. Through the Parent Volunteer Program, parents have the opportuninty to meet each other and build community. Additionally, our school gains access to talents and abilities that we would otherwise have to fund.
We use MobileServe to track, manage, and report parent volunteer and service hours. MobileServe is an app-based program easily accessible on your mobile phone, tablet, and/or home computer. Once parents have registered, hours can be simply entered. Volunteer opportunities for upcoming events as well as those specific to your child's homeroom are on the site. Completed volunteer service hours can be back-registered.
Parents may begin earning hours for the next school year as of April 1.
- Fingerprinting Clearance on file with the Diocese and reported to HSPS.
To ensure the safety of our students, Holy Spirit Parish School upholds the diocesan policy that requires ALL adult volunteers working directly with students to have Live Scan fingerprint clearance on file with the Diocese of Sacramento.
Forms are available in the school office.
- All volunteers must complete the Safe Environment online course provided by Catholic Mutual Group to work with students here at Holy Spirit School. Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity involving our students must complete this training once every three years. This online training takes about one hour to complete. When you have completed the course please email a copy of the certificate of completion to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring in a paper copy.
