Families in Faith

Families in Faith

The family is where Catholic education begins.

Every day, we witness the extraordinary love, sacrifice, and commitment our parents pour into their children. We also know that family life can be joyful, demanding, messy, beautiful, and sometimes overwhelming—all at the same time. Whatever your family's story, you are an important part of our community, and we want Holy Spirit Parish School to be a place where your family finds encouragement, hope, and a sense of belonging.

The Church calls the family the domestic church because it is within the home that children first encounter God's love and learn what it means to love, to forgive, to pray, and to follow Christ. As partners in your child's formation, we believe our responsibility extends beyond academics. Together, the home, school, and parish share in the privilege of accompanying families as they live out the vocation of marriage and family life, for it is within the family that faith is first lived and passed on from one generation to the next.

Strong Catholic schools are built on strong families. By encouraging healthy marriages, strengthening family relationships, and accompanying parents in the joys and challenges of raising children, we help families become more fully what God has called them to be. This commitment is not separate from our mission; it is a natural expression of who we are as a Catholic school and parish community.

Throughout the year, families will have opportunities to gather for retreats, workshops, parenting conversations, date nights, prayer experiences, and community events. Some experiences will offer practical encouragement for everyday family life. Others will simply provide time to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy being together. Each one is an opportunity to deepen relationships—with one another, with our parish community, and with Jesus Christ. This invitation is for every family. We recognize that every family has its own story, its own joys, and its own challenges. Whether you are newly married, raising young children, part of a blended family, parenting on your own, navigating a new season of family life, or simply seeking to grow deeper in your vocation, we hope you will join us.

We hope you'll join us throughout the year as families gather to learn, pray, laugh, and grow together. Whether you're looking to strengthen your marriage, connect with other parents, or simply spend meaningful time with your family, we invite you to share in the life of our community. We believe that when families know one another, encourage one another, and share life's joys and challenges together, our entire community is strengthened. Together, let us strengthen families, deepen our faith, and build a community where Christ is first encountered in the home and carried into the world.

We Want to Hear from You

Families in Faith begins by listening to you. Every family has its own story, experiences, and hopes, and we want to better understand what matters most to the families in our community.

We invite you to take a few minutes to complete the Relationship Survey. Your responses will help guide the conversations, experiences, and opportunities we create together in the months ahead. The survey is confidential and takes only a few minutes to complete.

Your voice matters, and we hope you'll take the survey and help shape where we go together.
