Dear Holy Spirit Families,
Welcome back! The Bears Kitchen is excited to start a new school year, and we look forward to serving your children throughout the year.
The Bears Kitchen provides hot lunch service for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Please note that lunch service is not available on minimum days.
Students who purchase a hot lunch are welcome to enjoy our fresh salad bar, which includes a variety of fresh vegetables and salad options. We also offer a fresh piece of fruit each day. Both the salad bar and fruit are optional.
We also offer a Snack Bar every regular school day (except minimum days) during student morning recess. Snacks are $1.00 each, and selections change throughout the week. Some examples include fresh fruit, string cheese, dried fruit, yogurt, freshly baked cookies, waffles, popcorn, Gatorade and other snacks.
How to Order Lunch
Lunch orders are placed through our Google Order Form. A new order form will be emailed to families each month before each month's order due date.
Please submit your order before the deadline listed in the monthly email. We encourage families to order early to avoid missing the deadline.
Lunch Prices
Regular lunch is $7.00 per meal.
On Pizza Days, students may choose a double pizza for $8.00. This option is available only on pizza days.
Payment
Payment is due after submitting your order.
We accept Venmo, Zelle, Checks, and Apple Pay. Please include your child's name in the payment notes so we can record your payment correctly.
Order Confirmation
After submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email( from Forms Response Receipts). Please save it for your records.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us so we can verify that your order was received.
Peanut-Free Kitchen
The safety of the students is our priority. Bears Kitchen is a peanut-free kitchen, and we are committed to providing a safe environment for all students. Also if any children have dietary restrictions that I need to be made aware of please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know.
Absences & Lunch Credits
If your child will be absent and you would like to receive a lunch credit, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day absences are not eligible for credits because meals have already been prepared.
